air shower

The air showers remove surface lint and dust from garments of workers entering the clean room without time consuming and counterproductive decontamination delays.Based on "fail safe" principles, the air shower remove contaminants from workers and air entering the clean room. They prevent accidental contamination due to premature or mistaken opening of the pressure-sealed doors. Contaminated air is returned through a low-wall prefilter for delivery to the HEPA module. Maintenance and filter replacement are simplified and performed primarily from outside to minimize downtime during servicing.

Standard operating voltage (208/220-230 V, 60 Hz, 3 phase) is transformed internally.

Specifications

Blower/Motor: 208/220-230 3 phase, 60 Hz to main power supply. High pressure, direct-drive blower with self-cleaning, radial blade paddle wheels to produce 6,000 FPM high-velocity, lowpressure air. Fan cooled motor; drip-prooffor continuous-duty operation.
Control-Circuitry: 24 VAC and DC by internal transformer.
Interior Lighting: 110, 120 VAC, single-phase, 60 Hz recessed fluorescent by internal transformer. (Note: All wiring meets National Electrical Code. See General Specifications for other power options )
